摘要
Water and power networks are inextricably linked; this is commonly known as the energy-water nexus. This paper provides an introduction to the integrated system and reviews the co-optimization opportunities of this nexus from the perspective of power system operation. Various coupling mechanisms between the two networks are reviewed. Additionally, the analogies in analyzing the two networks are summarized.
