Palestinian interest in homeland investment

Palestinians, like other diasporas, register high interest in homeland investment, However, the process of transforming investment interest into actual investment remains problematic, In this paper, we report the results of two surveys of diaspora Palestinians resident in the United States: one undertaken soon after the signing of the Declaration of Principles in 1993 and the other four years later We discuss the phenomenon and determinants of diaspora interest in homeland investment and examine the obstacles that hinder actual investment.
