摘要：
This paper introduces a concept of ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems). The ITS intends to realize the evolution of automobiles. The application of ITS into the automobile transportation system consists of three areas. (1) Informatization of all components of road transportation systems. (2) Connecting of all components into a networked system. (3) An introduction of advanced control and/or management into the networked system. Automobile driving in the future will be severely managed by the ITS, and drivers may lose free driving.
