摘要
This article investigates the origins of Trotskyism in the United States of America and its first developments. It runs through the constitution and disagreements of the communist movement in the country, by the rupture of James Cannon and others with the Communist Party and the training work of the first members of the Left Opposition, linked to the ideas of Leon Trotsky. He then deals with the Communist League of America's "dogdays", the "definitive" break with the Communist Party, the Minneapolis strikes, the Workers Party constitution and its deployment in the Socialist Party, the depletion of that experience, and the emergence and crisis of the Socialist Workers Party. That is, this article addresses the 1920s and 1930s of the American communist movement. This with its fragmentations and new formatting in the period. Therefore, wetry to highlight this trajectory in the midstof the Great Depression.
