摘要
We present a partial look into a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment of PepsiCo USA's beverage packaging. The study complies with voluntary international standards and was peer-reviewed. We looked at cradle-to-material and cradle-to-grave analysis, across eight impact categories, for various packaging materials and formats. The significant environmental benefits of using recycled PET are highlighted. Additionally highlighted are the benefits of lightweighting containers.
