摘要：
The adage "water is life"underscores how water is fundamental to human health. Unfortunately, 1.6 million people die annually as a result of unsafe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). We urgently need to develop and enhance safeguards that prevent WASH-related mortalities by accelerating actions that protect public health and water resources.
