摘要
This paper presents four rapid control prototyping systems intended for control of power electronics and electrical drives. Three different, but gradually improved rapid control systems developed in academia and a commercial SCALEXIO system from industry are introduced and further compared. The main drawback of a commercial rapid control prototyping system is its cost. This background led to the idea to use the main processor of a standard PC itself to do the real-time work. Design guidelines will be given during the hardware- and software description of these rapid control prototyping systems. The Experimental results obtained by these systems are also given to present the their performance.
