摘要
Despite the fact that today we live surrounded by automatic systems, students' knowledge of them is quite limited. In order to discover the extent of this knowledge, this research has been carried out. The aim of this research is to study, first of all, the previous ideas that a group of 42 students in the 3rd year of ESO have about what a robot is and whether they correspond to the appropriate concept of a robot. The information was collected by means of a questionnaire applied to the two groups in which the experiment was carried out, made up of forty-two pupils. According to the results, it should be noted that the students have an insufficient and unstructured knowledge of the concept of robot and automatism. The students who took part in this study seem to identify a robot as something that does things automatically, without considering the parts that make it up, and therefore consider them to be "black boxes" that carry out actions.
