摘要
China is entering rapid development of urban MTR construction stage, many local MTR construction projects have been launched one after another. In order to accomplish a project in high-quality and efficiency, any further advance in the management of Whole Life Cycle should be realized by means of knowledge management. How to make the similar projects fulfilling the application of shareable knowledge, to reduce the probability of repeatability error, to improve operating efficiency, to ensure investment effect; and how to raise the whole level of MTR project management through knowledge management, are the problems that need to be solved. This article focuses on three levels of knowledge management application in the MTR project management: The first one is the KM of every main party involved in the MTR project, and based on it the Metro project sponsor or project management enterprise takes knowledge integration and management into consideration from the angle of Whole Life Cycle. The second level is KM application in city metro networks construction. Due to the formation of urban metro networks undergoing a very long period, knowledge accumulation, knowledge utilization and knowledge innovation can continually improve the decision-making and operability of municipal government in metro project, and the expert group commissioned by government can in particular be a primary actor. Thirdly, it is about KM application in inter-urban metro project. As China's urban metro projects are implemented widely, the entire level of metro project management can be greatly improved through knowledge sharing and knowledge innovation among cities, MTR association may play an important role.
