摘要
There is no doubt that renewable generation, especially wind and solar photovoltaic, has many energy and environmental benefits. However, there are many uncertainties related to them to compromise the stable operation of the electrical power system. The penetration of renewable sources has reached records, showing the need for broader studies that make it possible to understand their behavior. To contribute to this area, the present work proposes a study of transient analysis, focusing on electromechanical stability, in a transmission system with a high presence of renewable generation. The WSCC test transmission system was adapted to compose varied scenarios, and the results were analyzed considering the Brazilian grid code.
