摘要
Nitrogen-doped TiO2 samples were prepared by hydrothermal and solid state reaction methods. The photocatalytic degradation of Phenol was used as model reaction to evaluate the visible light activity of nitrogen-doped TiO2 samples prepared at different calcined temperatures. And the prepared powders were characterized by XRD, UV-Vis/DRS and XPS. The results showed: When calcined at 300 degrees C, the particles were anatase phase, and transformed into rutile phase at 800 degrees C. UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectrum revealed that N-doped TiO2 absorbed UV light and visible light, while pure TiO2 could only absorb UV light. When calcined at 500 degrees C for I hour, the nitrogen-doped TiO2 showed the highest photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation. The degradation rate of phenol is 52.57% under visible light illuminated for 4 h.
