摘要
This paper introduces a method to control the acceleration in Switched Reluctance Machines (SRM) directly by injection of harmonics on the phase currents. Vibration synthesized acceleration generation is coupled to a dynamic simulation to generate current profiles. The proposed method eliminates the need for the extensive finite element analysis (FEA) to design and implement control methods. Both dynamic simulation and multiphysics FEA analysis for SRM are presented to verify and compare the conventional current and optimum current profile. The final FEA simulations demonstrated that the proposed control method reduces the vibration of SRM by 63.5% while achieving similar torque density compared with the conventionally controlled SRMs.
