摘要
A novel current sub-frame driving method is presented and analyzed. This current sub-frame driving mode can simplify the column circuit on the D/As in the current programmed mode or the counters in the time-ration-gray scale mode. As a current driving mode, the current sub-frame method can compensated both the mobility non-uniformity and the Vth variation, and thus the gray scale uniformity will be improved. So the Poly-Si TFT AM-OLED with current sub-frame mode can resolve the device-to-device uniformity problem. Meanwhile, the I-V characteristics of Poly-Si TFT current mirrors, both static and dynamic ones, are simulated and analyzed as a pixel unit of current programmed Poly-Si TFT AM-OLED. Since an inverted structure of OLED is adopted, the N type Poly-Si TFT can be used as current sink so that the performance of the pixel can be further improved.
