China's Manufacturing Industry Structure Adjustment in the Context of Intro-product International Specialization

China is mainly engaged in assembling and other low value-added assembling work in the international labor division system. In this study, a quantitative analysis on the situations of China's manufacturing industry in the intra-product international specialization is conducted based on the review of the related researches on the intra-product international specialization. The current situation of China's manufacturing industry in the intra-product international specialization system is described by means of regression analysis and it is suggested that several deep-seated problems existing in resource allocation should be addressed in China's industrial restructuring. For this purpose. it is necessary for China to make use of its comparative advantages continually, to actively participate in the international labor division, and to improve the accumulation of physical capital and human capital, so as to integrate into the intra-product international specialization, thus enhancing China's status in the international specialization.
