摘要
Organic semiconductors that consist of conjugated oligomers or polymers are the subject of considerable current research interest due to their fundamental optoelectronic physics and their potential applications in photodiodes, light-emitting diodes and thin film transistors. In this paper the synthesis and device properties of the green light emitting polymer 5 and a model oligomer 8 are described. The organic semiconductor 11 has been prepared and used in a thin film transistor. It exhibits a field effect mobility in the range 0.02-0.05 cm(2)/V s and a high On/Off ratio.
