摘要
This article presents the impact of the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) tools that are designed based on paradigms of collective intelligence (CI) in a blended learning modality. The study examines the behavior of individuals and work teams in the learning process using the FABRICIUS platform. FABRICIUS is a computer platform that combines the paradigms of creativity in swarming, CI, serious games, and social computing that together allow to capture the main individual and collective behaviors of learners in the construction of new knowledge. The results show that the adaptation to the teaching-learning environment with the use of ICT tools of CI in the blended learning modality, has a direct impact on those unattended synchronous learning activities. In addition, there is evidence of greater commitment and collaboration in the development of tasks in face-to-face activities. The first part of the paper discusses the concepts and paradigms on blended learning education with the use of ICT of CI. The second and third parts explain about the exploratory study and its results The final conclusion is that the use of ICT tools designed with the CI paradigms promote collaborative work, despite the anxiety patterns evidenced on the participants. It also concludes on several advantages and difficulties that result in a list of recommendations.
