摘要：
Any future oil discoveries in the Republic of Tatarstan can only be associated with small fields, total reserves of which are comparable with those of other, larger fields. This approach corresponds to a modern theory of oil reserves distribution according to Pareto law. In other words, small fields, taken together, can contain as much oil as larger ones. Thus, this concept is fully contradictory to an obsolete theory that most of the oil resources is concentrated in a limited number of largest fields.
