Details of the Behavior of Platinum-Group and Noble Metals in Sulfide Systems with Transition Metals

An analysis of the details of interactions and phase equilibria is given, as well as of the thermodynamics of evaporation and dissociation of platinum-group metals in sulfide systems with transition metals (iron, nickel, copper, and cobalt). The effect caused by the transition metals on the behavior of the platinum-group and noble metals during the processing of copper-nickel sulfide materials was established.
