Standard molar enthalpy of combustion and formation of ionic liquid alkylimidazolium chloride

摘要
Using an oxygen-bomb combustion calorimeter the molar combustion heats of the ionic liquids of alkylimidazolium chloride: 1-methyl-3-ethylimidazolium chloride (C2MIC), 1-methyl-3-butylimidazolium chloride (C4MIC), 1-methyl-3-pentylimidazolium chloride (C5MIC), and 1-methyl-3-hexylimidazolium chloride (C6MIC), were determined at (298.15 +/- 0.01) K. The standard molar combustion enthalpies Delta H-c(m)circle minus and the standard molar formation enthalpies Delta H-f(m)circle minus were calculated. With standard molar enthalpies of solution Delta H-c(m)circle minus of C2MIC, C4MIC, C5MIC and C6MIC in literature, the standard molar enthalpies of formation Of C2MI+, C4MI+, C5MI+, and C6MI+ were obtained. The contribution of one methylene group to the Delta H-c(m)circle minus and Delta H-f(m)circle minus was also estimated, respectively.
