Experimental study on the intensity of coal and gas outburst

摘要
Aimed at the four main factors which control the occurrence and intensity of coal and gas outburst: gas pressure (gas content), ground stress, coal mass strength and thickness of soft slice in coal seam, laboratory simulating tests have been conducted to investigate their influence on outburst intensity. Then by applying poly-elements regression analysis, the sequence of these four factors is obtained according to the degree of their influence on outburst intensity. Finally, the inherent physical mechanism that determines such sequence is analyzed.
