摘要：
Digital information became pervasive in academic environments. The efforts deployed in the area of digital libraries are impressive, from new services to different searching expertise. Our paper is exploring the evolution of the libraries in the knowledge society, i.e. the migration from traditional to digital libraries; the emergence of new concepts as bibliomining, h-index, bibliograms and associograms and their impact on education and scientific research management.
