摘要
Based on the detailed analysis of the artificial bee colony (ABC) and to overcome its shortcomings, an improved optimization algorithm, the adaptive chaos artificial bee colony (ACABC), is proposed. It employs the chaos algorithm to initialize the population and enhance the diversity of bees and search ergodicity, uses the adaptive step-size calculation method to improve the optimization speed at the late phase of the algorithmic search and meanwhile applies the chaos algorithm to late-phase search of food source beyond local optimum. Through the comparative analysis of testing function optimization results, the superiority of the algorithm is validated.
