Basis of rotary cleaning system by combine harvester

摘要
An opportunity to increase the efficiency of cleaning system by harvester combines is the use of greater accelerations by a rotary cleaning system. The rotary cleaning system consits of a conical rotor with vertical axis of rotation. The rotation is superimposed by an oscillatory motion. Air is blown through the sieve of rotor from the outside. The operating and constructional parameters are determined by a comparison of characteristical parameters of separation process between conventional and rotary cleaning system. These parameters are calculated with motion models, which discribe the trajectory of material. A motion model of rotary cleaning system was developed and a comparision of calculated and experimental trajectory established the validity of this model, In the end the operating and constructional parameters are declared.
