摘要：

At present, homogeneity in English Major of different universities is serious and English graduates cannot meet the high requirements of the society, making English Major the top three majors producing unemployable graduates. In the face of such a predicament, in this study, we propose that the science and engineering universities should make clear the social demand, intensify the curriculum reform of English Major, enrich students' knowledge of the industry that students are interested in, strengthen students' English practical ability, thereby, improving English majors' employment competitiveness.
