摘要
In this paper, the rarely investigated question of the critical interpretation of Kant and German Idealism in the work of the Kharkiv Professor Andrej Dudrovic (1782-1830) is presented. At first, the main periods of scientific and creative endeavours of Andrej Dudrovic, who was born in Cigelka (Slovakia), including his studying at the Buda grammar school, at Pest University (Hungary) and at the Kosice Academy (Slovakia) is considered. Then the features of the teaching and the publications of Andrej Dudrovic in his "Kharkiv period" (1812-1830) are pointed out. At first, he held the position of adjunct (1814), then extraordinary (1818) and, finally, ordinary professor of philosophy (1820). Andrej Dudrovic's important works were Dissertatio inauguralis de Philosophiae genuino conceptu, nec non necessitate ejus absoluta (1814) and On the animal magnetism (1818). The positions of Kant and the German Idealists (Fichte, Schelling, Schad) were analyzed here. Andrej Dudrovic's critical interpretation of the philosophical viewpoint of Kant in his work Critique of Pure Reason occupies an important place in this analysis. In turn, Andrej Dudrovic's important achievement was the popularization of the ideas of animal magnetism (Mesmer, Eschenmayer, Kieser, Kluge) and the philosophy of faith (Friedrich Jacobi) in Russia and Ukraine.
