Dynamic Model Predictive Current Control Based on Deviation for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

摘要
Model predictive current control (MPCC) has been developed and successfully used for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). However, the fixed weighting factor of MPCC is not good for the improvement of dynamic performance. In this paper, a new MPCC strategy is proposed to solve the problem. The new control structure and control logic are designed and the principle of deviation control is used in the proposed strategy, so the deviations of d-axis and q-axis currents are directly controlled through setting the deviation references. As a result, the problem of the weighting factor design is solved and the dynamic performance of PMSM is improved. The simulation results show that the proposed strategy leads to smaller overshoot of the speed and faster response of current in the transient process when compared with MPCC.
