摘要：
A study of ray-trace sofware was carried out. This software enables designers and product developers to predict the performance of reflectors, luminairies, backlit flat panel displays and many other illumination systems. The software produces these simulations by tracing millions of rays from extended source models through the illumination system design to an observation surface, so called Monte Carlo calculation.
