摘要
In this present article, I primarily do research on the magnetic, magnetocaloric, and critical phenomena of the SrCoO3 perovskite. To study these aspects of the compound, I first start determining its transition temperature before establishing the second-order transition of the magnetic phase in the SrCoO3 perovskite by the positive slopes of the Arrott plot. Besides, I extract the values of the critical exponents beta, gamma and delta by employing the modified Arrott plot method, the scale relation of Widom and the Kouvel-Fisher method. In this way, a number of the results are attained and the main research findings are: the transition temperature of the studied system is Tc = 300 K; beneath 5 T, the values of both the magnetic entropy change and the relative cooling power are 2.89 J /kg K and 189.17 J/Kg, respectively. To complete this study, my investigation is proposed that the exponents obtained correspond well to those calculated from the results of the renormalization group approach for a three-dimensional Ising model coupled with long-range interaction.
