摘要：
In the paper a detailed demonstration of a dual-band reconfigurable band notched ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna is presented. This includes a simplified metallic radiating circular patch antenna integrated with defected ground structure (DGS) and a pair of L-slot structure and slit which produces the dual-band notch at C-Band and WLAN bands. The suggested antenna can alternately switches to the operating frequency through the four PIN diodes and the related dc bias networks. The designed antenna radiates over 3 to 11 GHz except for the notched bands with satisfactory VSWR (2:1). The measured results of fabricated prototype of the antenna compared with the simulated and it shows the satisfactory agreement in simulated and measured results.
