Chain orientation and extension in steady shear flow

摘要
Chain interactions and steady shear flow of linear polymeric chains were investigated within the Zimm approximations. The results were compared with the light scattering measurements on polystyrene (PS) in dioctyl phthalate (DOP). The chain extension ratio was defined and the value of the extensibility parameter was 3-6 times of that calculated from the previous experiments.
