摘要：

These days, image processing techniques are most common in diverse medical applications for the early diagnosis and treatment, predominantly in cancer tumors. Identification of such tumors at the budding stage is a tedious task. Most of the existingmethods tests on CT (Computed Tomography) scan images that is having mainly four stages: image enhancement, segmentation, extraction of features, and classification. This paper briefly discusses about different methods already reported in literature for lung cancer detection using CT scan images.
