摘要
The study reviews the possibilities to increase the value of real estate projects applying the functions of visual environment planning. Quality and future success of real estate project on the market is significantly impacted by visual environment planning considering design and investment as integrally connected parts. The relevance of this topic is due to the extending influence of the visual environment planning on the social and cultural spheres of life. Harmonious design becomes undeniable condition of competitive advantage in today's market and plays an important role in the private life modem society Planned living conditions on today's real estate market are not only legal requirements, but also a tool of social control and monitoring. It forms social values, supports traditions, develops new trends, creates comfort, brings stability and excitement at the same time. This study includes the analysis of the key functions that will help to examine the efficiency of the increasing of real estate value through visual environment planning functions and evaluate it providing examples of the most expensive.projects sold in Riga and in Dubai in 2016. Much attention has been paid to qualitative improvement of real estate projects through the visual environment planning functions that will find out the potential conceptual solutions and increase the efficiency of it. Primary results were presented at Riga Technical University 57th International Scientific Conference in October, 2016.
