摘要
This paper deals with the hardware implementation of digital PID controller for DC-DC Boost converter based on Arduino Mega. The digital PID is designed to control the output voltage of the converter and to improve its performance regardless of load or input voltage variations. Firstly, The transfer function of the boost converter is extracted based on small-signal method. And then the PID parametrises are calculated using the second method of Zigler-Nechols (Z-N). Secondly, simulation and experimental tests are provided and its feasibility is investigated in Matlab/Simulink. The simulation and experimental results show the good performance of the designed prototype in term of reliability and accuracy in tracking the desired output voltage.
