摘要
The Planar Laser Induced Fluorescence (PLIF) technique is used in this work for the characterization of the mixing process of a passive solute in some transient open channel flows. Following an eulerian approximation, the time evolution of the concentration distribution at a complete transversal section in a rectangular channel is obtained. The studied cases correspond to mixing in transient flow. The laboratory setup, the measurement procedure, the image data post-processing and the results are described in detail.
