摘要
Effects of dicamba on four maize inbred lines in the three-leaf stage were investigated. The studies were carried out under controlled conditions within the temperature range of 20-25 degrees C. The herbicide (288 and 480 g a.i./ha) was added to pots filled with soil simultaneously with the planting of maize. The length and the fresh and dry weight of above-ground parts and roots of the maize plants were measured. The results obtained on effects of dicamba on maize inbred lines at early growing stages at various temperatures show differences in the studied parameters. Increased amounts of the herbicide resulted in increased phytotoxic effects on the maize inbred lines. The herbicide effect also depended on the relative resistance of the individual inbred lines. The inhibitory effect of dicamba was especially expressed on the root system of the majority of the observed inbred (biomass of fresh and dry matter).
