摘要：
In this paper, we demonstrated how syntax based service composition can provide incorrect results and hence motivated the semantic markup. We also motivated importance of preconditions and effects and demonstrated improvement in accuracy of result over just IO based composition. We proposed our approach to address the problem of automated web service composition. We designed a two-phase algorithm which does web service composition based on inputs, outputs, preconditions and effects described using OWL-S. Algorithm guarantees to return results with no redundant services.
