New-wave sunscreens - Active ingredient makers are frustrated by the long list of sunscreens and UV-A testing protocols that are still awaiting FDA decisions

Sunscreens in the US have been waiting on FDA approval for nearly three years.The US have few useful UV-B filters and even fewer UV-A filters. The EU have 28 approved sunscreens compared with 16 in the US. US consumers will be the last to benefit from the latest sun care products and are putting the country atrisk with skin cancer.
