Prospects and status of the MINERνA experiment at FNAL

摘要
MINER nu A is a detector designed to precisely study v-nucleus interactions in the 1-10 GeV energy range in the NuMI high-intensity neutrino beam at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. MINER nu A will improve our knowledge of neutrino cross sections at low energy and low Q(2), and of the A-dependence in v interactions. These data will be interesting in their own right, and will be important to reduce systematic errors in v oscillation experiments. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
