In this paper, the concept of fuzzy-valued fuzzy measures is introduced at first and then, based on the generalized fuzzy integral given by Wu et al. [Fuzzy Sets and Systems 57 (1993) 219], the generalized fuzzy integral of fuzzy-valued functions with respect to fuzzy-valued fuzzy measures is defined and the properties and convergence theorems are given. All these are extensions of the Sugeno [Theory of fuzzy integrals and its applications, Ph.D. thesis, Tokyo Institute of Technology, 1974] and Wu et al. (1993) theory. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
