Learning motivation and study achievement of students from institutions of higher education

摘要
The role of learning activity motivation of students in medicine institute is considered as the object of investigation. Investigation was made on the sample of 111 Ss (18-24 yr) - students of medicine institute. The compound of high level of cognitive and competitive motives makes for good progress in studies. The dominated aversive tendencies, when the competitive motive is on the low level, lead to the low results in studies. Formed structure of motivation may be changed in course of learning, but the character and the direction of these changes depends upon the personality features and initial psychophysiological integrity of students.
