摘要
This short paper written in mid 1994 comprises two parts, First, the problem faced by Manchester Airport plc by proposed surface water consent limits, the physical context in which the problem was set and the strategies considered by their consultant and the adopted strategy. The second part deals with the design of the works from the designer's point of view.
