Preparation and characterization of aqueous polyurethane/ceria nanocomposite materials

摘要
The Nanocomposite Material of aqueous Polyurethane/ CeO2 Nanoparticles has been synthesized by nanoparticle direct dispersion method. Viscidity analysis shows that the viscidity of nanocomposite doesn't be affect by adding ceria, which is almost the same with the increasing of CeO2 quantity. FTIR analysis shows that the absorption band of Ce-O bond becomes blue shift. TEM and light scattering grain size analysis shows that composite particle is still in nanoscale and monodispersion in aqueous solution, whose grain size is about 30 nm. CeO2 Nanoparticles are dispersed in polyurethane uniformly. UV-Vis spectrum shows that the absorbance of Polyurethane/CeO2 nanocomposite increases with the increasing of quantity of solid content and ceria, which indicates that composite material can be used as excellent ultraviolet absorption material.
