The paper deals with the analysis of diffusion process in homogeneous, isotropic half-space. The diffusing substance is located in an infinite long ditch with a constant width. Moreover, the constant concentration of diffusing substance or the constant gradient of diffusing substance in the ditch is assumed for each time t greater than or equal to 0. The Ficks equation of diffusion is taken into account as a mathematical model. By using integral transform methods the concentration is found for arbitrary point of body and time.
