The development of a corporate culture in international joint ventures

This paper concentrates on the process of the development of a corporate culture in international joint ventures. Firstly, the external and internal factors influencing the development of corporate culture are examined. Secondly, the questions as to what extent the parent companies in practice try to influence the development of the joint venture culture and by which means, are investigated. To analyse these questions, expert interviews are conducted among managers of Austro-Czech joint ventures. Finally, consideration is given to which of the influencing factors on corporate culture can be shaped, and in what way.
