Development of u-Health Monitoring System using PPG Sensor

摘要
This paper describes an u-Health monitoring system by using PPG(Photoplethysmography) sensor as an u-Health device to record a person's heart rates. PPG is a simple and low-cost optical technique that can be used to detect blood volume changes in the microvascular bed of tissue. It is often used non-invasively to make measurements at the skin surface. In this paper, we proposed the biomedical signal analysis system using PPG sensor. Proposed system is data collected using PPG sensor and pulse wave was detected using derivative algorithm.
