摘要
The landscape of healthcare is quickly evolving and, as the United States continues to evaluate its contributions to global health, it is vital that nursing is at the forefront of change. Nurses at all levels continue to expand their knowledge base and learn from others. Partnering, not only within their own country, but internationally enhances this process. The College of Nursing at The Ohio State University, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital have formed partnerships with visiting scholars from several universities in China to promote an environment of sharing and cross-cultural learning. Visiting scholars are welcomed to participate in classes at the College related to vital topics including leadership and evidence-based practice. They operationalize the didactic content and witness firsthand how to implement the newly acquired skills into their own practice when they return to their own organization.
