CARTOGRAPHY AND GEOMORPHOLOGICAL UNITS OF TETUAN PROVINCE, MOROCCO

The following article provides a synthesis of geomorphology of the Tetuan region. Located at the northern tip of Morocco, the territory provides a unique opportunity to study and observe an exceptional example of geodiversity and its significance in landform research. An analysis of existing sources as well as field work and laboratory studies have made it possible to establish for the first time a geomorphological outline of the collection of landforms that exist in this North African site; it is possible to differentiate five geomorphological formations within which exist up to fifteen smaller formations that make up the fundamental topographical phenomena of this province.
