ABOUT 100 YEARS OF THE ROMANIAN GAS INDUSTRY: 1909-2009

The 1909 year has been issued as the beginning landmark of the Romanian gas industry due to the fact that Gas Well 2 Sarmasel was drilling. At the anniversary of 100 years of the Romanian gas industry we have set a target for our paperwork to present the main events and fields of Romanian natural gas industry performance which have turned out to be European premieres or have reached the worldwide technical peaks. And there aren't a few ones if we take into consideration the country's size, its geographical position or the vicissitudes period of time which the Romanian people have had to past. Therefore, we are writing this paper on behalf of those, many and the unknown ones who have dedicate their lives in the name of the Romanian Gas Industry.
