摘要:
Ferromagnetic materials generate magnetic Barkhausen noise (MBN) mainly due to 180degrees domain wall motion. MBN measurement can be used for the characterization of magnetic materials. In the present work, the direction of magnetic easy axis of a polycrystalline steel material has been studied in presence of different stresses using MBN measurement. The stress distributions around a circular shaped defect in a ferromagnetic material has also been investigated using the same measurement.
