Development, analysis and discussion of indicators of sustainability: application for Canadian pulp and paper companies

摘要：
The aim of this study is to develop a simple tool ("radar") which will allow a company to benchmark itself with respect to others and also help to point out its weaknesses and strengths. The choice of the criteria used to elaborate different social, economic and environmental performance measures and how their aggregation takes plate will be discussed. The second objective is to find consistency and correlation between the different ways of measuring environmental performance. In the longer term, these "radar" images could allow us to discover underlying explanatory factors and obstacles to Sustainable Development.
